"Stayed in Varde for the weekend visited Big Ben Friday afternoon. Nice place but no atmosphere at all. Kind staff but no selection of any English beer. Fish and chips were good but expensive. Or is that me being an old 😀? Really well replica of an English pub but empty of customers. Maybe that reflects on the prices….. 80dkr for a cider. Where does that come from. Almost as expensive as the Nim hotel . Nothing to say bad about Big Ben, apart from value for money. Will definitely go there again when I win the lotto and buy the place for myself 😀🍺"
