What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nature Energy Park is appreciated for its wonderful atmosphere when full and its historic charm as a Danish football ground. However, some find the food options limited and unhealthy, and the stadium's infrastructure, including roof coverage, could be improved.
"A beautiful, small stadium. When it's full, it has a wonderful atmosphere. The beer and sausages are delicious. We went to watch football first at the men's section and then at the women's section :)"
Marcel Ritschel
"Very unhealthy food choices and you are not allowed to bring in food either.
There is only the old outdated Danish standard menus. Two different meat based sausages, sodas, candy, beer and so on.
So no vegetarian, pescatarian or any other diet choices.
I bought 2 white sausage bread for 10 kr. Then I saw half the game, because I had hoped to find at least one diet alternative, I just went home because I was hungry/thirsty"
Mi Westberg
"Great stadium but sadly I did not have the chance to witness a home game. Would love to be back here again in future."

The Heart of Odense Football
Beyond football, the Nature Energy Park has proven to be a versatile venue. It has successfully transformed into a space for large-scale concerts, hosting notable artists and events. This adaptability highlights its importance not just as a sports arena but as a significant cultural hub in Odense. The park's ability to host diverse events, from football matches to music festivals, makes it a dynamic and central location in the city.
Visitors often praise the historic charm of the ground, noting its traditional Danish football stadium feel. However, it's worth noting that the stadium's infrastructure is described by some as a bit outdated, and the roof coverage is limited, meaning attendees might get wet in bad weather. Despite these points, the overall experience, particularly the atmosphere during a packed game, is highly regarded.
Matchday Experience: Beyond the Game
When it comes to food and drink, the offerings are quite traditional. You'll find classic Danish stadium fare like sausages and beer. However, it's important to be aware that the selection is limited, and there are no provisions for vegetarian, pescatarian, or other specific dietary needs. Bringing your own food is also prohibited. While the beer and sausages are noted as delicious by some, others have found the lack of variety disappointing, leading them to leave games early due to hunger.
For those interested in football memorabilia, the Nature Energy Park occasionally hosts events like football jersey fairs. These events are a great opportunity to find retro shirts and enjoy a unique atmosphere. This adds another layer to the park's appeal, catering to a broader range of football enthusiasts beyond just match attendees.
