"This place exceeded our expectations! We especially appreciated how many knowledgeable people were there to explain different aspects of life in the historical period they were representing. Many of the staff and participants wore authentic historical clothing and even spoke in an old-fashioned manner — which was incredibly cool. The whole site is impressive, with plenty of adorable animals and hands-on activities to try. The attention to detail is remarkable! We ended up spending about five hours there.
P.S. The museum shop is also fantastic — definitely worth a visit!"

"I really loved it! A lot of activities for kids but also for grownups, a lot of space to walk around and explore and wonderful people to help you discover cool crafts. This is a place where you can easily spend a few days! I would love to return!
The great hall looks amazing and there are some table games to learn and try, the pottery offers demonstrations and you can play with a piece of clay and create something yourself, the textile house has a lot of information about how yarn and textiles are produced.... There is so much!
I definitely recommend coming, but reserve the entire day because ot is worth it!"

"It's important to note that this site houses a faithful reconstruction, as faithful as possible, of a Viking village. Obviously, one wouldn't expect to find original wooden structures over 1,000 years old! I personally found the site very interesting and definitely worth a visit!"
