What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Danish Museum of Nursing History for its insightful overview of nursing evolution and its unique setting within a historic children's hospital. The English translations enhance accessibility, though the experience is largely text-dependent. The scenic location adds to its charm.
"Nice museum to know the history of nursing in Denmark."
Imran Mehmood
"Cute little museum. Maybe an hour or two. Museum is an old tuberculosis hospital for children. So the museum partly covers that history and partly the general history of nursing (how nursing has changed over time and developed into what it is today). Most of the information is in Danish but about half has English translations below. Museum does have a small Cafe but I think only coffee and tea is available. Museum is located in a beautiful wooded area with a great view of Kolding fjorde."
Amanda Duncan
"This museum gives the visitor an excellent overview of the history of Nursing. This includes who cared for.people, along with the evolution of public health, nursing education, sterile technique, treatments and hospital design."
