"A truly magical place to visit in daytime or evening, extraordinary sunsets over the sea! The tower features plaques explaining the special world of this beautiful National Park including a telescope to observe the barrier islands & marshlands. Seal spotting is also likely in early evening near the sluice.
On windy days you could hear the tower “sing” as coastal gusts cut through the guardrails on the tower’s ironwork staircase. Sadly the tower sings no more."
