"Great place to visit. Castle and it's surroundings are perfect for a walk and photo shooting. The castle domain covers several buildings and get parks around. Originally was built in 1765 for Emil August, brother of Dune of Schleswig-Holstein Frederik Christian I. As aftermath of the first Schleswig War in 1848-50, the building was used as barracks and later as a seminary for women. Danish state purchased it in 1921 and rearranged it to a hospital."
