What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Smíchoff Bouldering Gym is praised for its massive, modern facilities and friendly, English-speaking staff, making it a great spot for beginners. While some advanced climbers note a lack of very challenging routes, the gym is highly recommended for recreational climbers and those looking to learn the sport.
"Massive gym with great facilities also super friendly staff who speak English very well. The bouldering grades are a bit odd and there aren’t many challenging routes (V6+). It’s a shame considering the size of the gym and the number of routes. There also wasn’t much variety in movement styles (like dynos or slabs)."
Hannah Monji
"Been here couple times after it got reconstructed, it is very modern now, routes are very beginner friendly, ranging to semi advanced which is perfect for recreational climbers like me, if you are a pro then you will probably not find much challenge here, but overall this is a very nice place, at 250czk per entry which includes shoes and there is chalk and water fountains everywhere, if you are a bouldering enthusiast I highly recommend this placcle."
Viktor Schumann (Kapti)
"Took a chance to visit this gym. Great facility with its new section for bouldering. Definitely worth a go would recommend."
