Reviews Summary

Rokytnice nad Jizerou is a family-friendly ski resort praised for its long slopes and stunning mountain views. While it offers artificial snowmaking, some visitors note inconsistent slope maintenance with bumpy conditions on certain runs. It's recommended for beginners and families, especially the Kaprun area, but experienced skiers might find some slopes challenging. Booking online and getting an instructor are key tips for a better experience.

"Great ski resort. One of the longest slopes in the Czech Republic. Artificial snowmaking even at temperatures up to +15°C.
Rokytnice just needs better infrastructure. Looking forward to my next ski trip!"

David Brezina

"Early February on a Saturday, it was a gorgeous sunny day, without a big crowd surprisingly. The views from above are amazing, no doubt about that.
Unfortunately, the slopes we tried felt unmaintained with piles of snow and very big bumps on the blue Turistická route. It was quite challenging for us and felt more like a red route. Only a small section around Kaprun had snow that felt somewhat maintained and even. To the disappointment of our kids, there was no funpark."

Ivan Stojmirov

"Great to go with Kids and practice on Kaplun.
Some nice tracks for better riders too.
This is a small Resort. Not the party style one. The family one rather."
