What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Jurkovič House for its beautiful architecture and pleasant gardens, with many highlighting the friendly and informative guided tours. However, some express disappointment that only one room is fully restored, with other spaces serving as art galleries or workshops.
"A nice villa with very professional and friendly tour guides. The tour didn't cost that much and it was interesting to hear a bit about the villa to understand what a person looks at, not just to look around. Entrance to the gardens is for free.
To have peace of mind, I recommend to make a reservation for the tour in advance."
Jana Krištanová
"I was hoping to see the villa from inside but I was really disappointed. Only one room was restored with furniture. The rest (Jurkovic workplace, bedroom, kids room) were “art gallery and workshop. Also the maid room was destroyed as lift was built in, kitchen is used as office. It’s really shame.
BUT our guide (slovakian young guy) was really friendly and lovely!"
Marta Capova
"Amazing and beautiful villa! Very interesting also inside. Many interesting pictures."
