The stunning Baroque architecture of the former monastery housing the museum is also frequently commended, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal. Some visitors note that while the historical instrument displays are vast, the interactive elements are a standout feature for engagement.

"Had a lot of fun here! So much to see with lots of interactive displays with info in English too. You can listen to various instruments in all of the rooms. I loved having a play on the electric guitar, mini organ and harp! Not busy so you can enjoy the place and overall a relaxing experience. Some beautiful instruments, many of which I have never come across. If you visit the National Museum, I think you can come here for free.

(No lift so consider this if you have mobility issues)"

Josephine D'Souza

"It is such a beautiful museum containing a lot of musical instruments. Some of them are interactable, so you can try to play them yourself. There are also some interactable panels where you can learn interesting informations about the instruments. Children have free entry."

Cosmin Vacarescu

"Great small Museum, lots of instrument history, including the Mozart Piano/klavier.
It's a quick visit, but should take about 1, max 2 hours."
