What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Prague Botanical Garden for its stunning Fata Morgana greenhouse, offering an immersive tropical experience. The free outdoor gardens and the serene Japanese Garden are also highly appreciated. While generally well-received, some find the ticket price for the greenhouse a bit high, and accessibility on certain outdoor paths can be challenging.
"Very huge beautiful park that overlooks the whole Prague. Such a nice place to visit if you like many different plants and flowers or just want to take a walk in the nature. There is a lot to walk through so make sure you have enough time before you go there"
Katrīna E
"The Botanical Garden of the City of Prague is a nice and peaceful place, especially for nature lovers. It’s located about 15 minutes by car from the Old Town, and features a wide variety of plants and greenery, making it a pleasant spot for a relaxing walk or quiet time outdoors.
That said, it’s more of a local gem than a must-see attraction. If you’re already nearby, it’s definitely worth stopping by. But if you’re staying in the Old Town or further and the weather is hot , it may not be worth the trip out of your way, especially with so many other iconic sights to see in the city center.
In short, a nice spot if convenient, but not essential for first-time visitors on a tight schedule."

"Such a wonderful and stunning garden.
The grounds are huge, so you can easily spend an entire day exploring.
My personal highlight was the Japanese section. I’ve never seen such a diverse collection of bonsais.
You can really tell that a lot of care and dedication went into the layout and maintenance.
Thanks for the great experience."
