What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the free entry and the opportunity to support a sanctuary dedicated to bear welfare. The Saturday feeding time is a highlight, and the playground and observation tower add to the family-friendly appeal. Some visitors note the bears' limited roaming space, particularly at night, and the lack of on-site food facilities.
"There is only one bear left, that is not allowed to roam the little pasture at night. It is caged in after dinner and released after breakfast. After 19:30 you most likely won't see it again.
Playground for kids is nice and you can climb the tower to overlook the town and countryside"

"I loved the visit to these chubby cuties. I don't like zoos, but I do support animal shelters and this is one of them. The bears Kuba and Matej look to be very well cared. They have "public feeding" every Saturday at 12, so you can see them gently eating. It is open space, no line to enter or entry fee. But you can support the place with donations in a box they have around. Beautiful work Beroun is doing taking care of these beauties"

"Nice Park where you can meet directly from fairytale these 3 big bears.
A bit sad to see they live in the small area but nice experience.
