What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests rave about the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa's enchanting atmosphere, opulent decor, and exceptional service, often describing it as a fairytale experience. Its prime location near Prague Castle and Charles Bridge is a significant plus. However, some visitors have been disappointed by the size and lighting of certain 'cosy' rooms, which did not meet their expectations for a luxury stay.
"Wow! What a beautiful hotel in Prague! Located just a few minutes from the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge and so many more landmarks! The staff was remarkable! The decor was amazing! The hotel itself, beyond words! It was clean, there was daily cheese and wine offerings and there's a Cafe and restaurant on-site that serves incredible dishes, fresh coffee and delicious (looking, -did not try) desserts! I would return and I will return! Such an incredible spot to stay!"

"So disappointed with our stay. We came on honeymoon, and after all the pictures, we were so excited. We were put in room 314; the receptionist said 'cosy,' a poor choice of words. It was the smallest room I have ever seen. Very gloomy and claustrophobic, with minimal natural light from a tiny ceiling window that faced a high roof. All very disappointing and we wouldn't return at all. Rest of the hotel was beautiful and quirky, sadly the rooms were a big let down and not what we expected at all."

"Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into a palace. From the grand architecture to the elegant interiors, every detail exuded charm and sophistication. The rooms were incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a perfect blend of luxury and comfort—ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the city.
Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was offering local tips, arranging transport, or just greeting us with a smile, the service was top-notch throughout our stay.
If you’re looking for a place that offers both regal ambiance and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel is a gem in Prague. Highly recommended!"
