What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Kato Paphos Archaeological Park for its incredible historical value and affordability. The well-preserved mosaics and monumental tombs are standout features, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient life. While some note a lack of seating, the overall experience is highly recommended for its educational and visual appeal.
"The Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos is well worth a visit. The entry fee is excellent value at just €4.50 per person (free for children and over 65s!). We were impressed by how accessible the ancient rocks and mosaics were. While there were a few stairs requiring us to lift our buggy, it didn't hinder our exploration. Even though our time was limited, we were very happy we experienced this site."

"We spent a great few hours exploring the site. Lots to see and explore, the mosaics are wonderfully preserved and worth a visit.
I would also recommend downloading the app before you visit following the main trail, it was pretty quiet walking along the city walls and we got to see plenty of wildlife. Highly recommended if you are in Paphos particularly on a cooler day"
Chris Flint
"A vast archaeological site by the old Castle of Paphos. There's a lot to see and explore with some very nice and intact mosaics. Most of the area is flat which is good for the wheelchair users. You can do the whole site in 2 to 3 hours and there is sign with information at most of the places. Also a lot of sections were covered with sand to protect mosaics from the weather.
There's a parking designed for wheelchair users at the site of the Archaeological site, but you will need to inform the ticket office to open the gate."
