While some visitors find the entrance fee steep and the access road challenging, many appreciate the 'hidden oasis' feel and the chance to swim in its legendary waters. "Visiting the Adonis Baths in Koili was absolutely worth it — it’s one of those places that really surprises you. Tucked away in nature, it’s much more than just a waterfall. The site includes a sculpture park, a small museum, and even a few quirky theme park elements, all wrapped in mythological charm.
The baths themselves are stunning — cool, refreshing water perfect for a summer dip. Facilities were a pleasant surprise too: there are changing rooms and toilets on-site, which made things a lot more comfortable for us.
It truly feels like a hidden sanctuary, and unlike the more famous touristy spots, this one still holds some mystery.
🌿 If you’re into hiking and waterfalls, Cyprus is full of options:
• Try the Millomeri Waterfall Nature Trail with its lush greenery and views of the Kyros River.
• Or head to Platres and discover the Caledonia Falls — some of the tallest and most beautiful in the country.
• But if you want myth meets nature, Adonis Baths is the place. With breathtaking mountain scenery, swimmable pools, and Greek legends carved in stone, it’s a perfect blend of culture and nature"

"This place is stunning! The water is very cold but nice and refreshing especially on a very hot day! Definitely recommend hiring a buggy for the trip up there, there’s lots of signs around saying how it’s suitable for cars but I wouldn’t risk it, especially if you have a hire car! We had a buggy and had no issues at all!
We were there at the end of June and it wasn’t too busy at all, we expected it to be a lot worse!
Lots of cats up there, including a little kitten who took up a lot of our time!! He was just the cutest!!"

"It's totally a tourist trap. All the signs indicates that the road is suitable for all cars which is a lie. Anyway the local guides will put anyone else in danger to pass with their ATVs. The 15€ is not worth it for a crowded lake and a few statues. There is much more to see in Cyprus that really worth your time."
