Reviews Summary
Porto Mari Beach is consistently praised as one of Curaçao's most beautiful beaches, lauded for its stunning turquoise waters, soft white sand, and excellent snorkeling. The unique charm of the resident wild pigs adds a memorable element for many visitors. While the entry fee and restaurant prices are noted as being on the higher side, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a favorite for families and beach lovers.
"Whenever we spoke with locals this was always the beach that was on the top of their list. After visiting we would agree. As many beaches in Curacao there is an entry fee of $5 a person. Parking is free.
The road to it can be rough in spots. There is a diving school on site. A great restaurant. Chair rentals. A shop. The beach is white sand and it is relatively large. There is a dock. You can go way out in the water before it gets deep. The area is kept clean.
There are pigs that roam around that add a lot of charm. Of course you will find Iguanas and lots of birds.
The beach was about 35 minutes from Willemstad. In the end it was our favorite beach as well."

"When in port, we rented a car so we could explore. We found this gem of a beach which was wonderful for our family. There is a small admission fee to this beach - I believe it was $3 per person and if you wanted to rent a chair they were $3.50 each. The beach was not crowded at all and the water was beautiful for snorkeling. My boys were obsessed with the free roaming wild pigs that were there. The pigs were not intrusive at all and were, in fact, very friendly! The restaurant and bar on site looked very good - just be aware that the prices seemed quite high. I think a burger and fries were close to twenty dollars! We would absolutely recommend a stop here if you are in the area. Really beautiful setting!"

"Great beach with lovely blue waters, relaxed vibe and some animals roaming around.
The parking is free and you pay $3 to enter plus $3.50 for a chair.
Beach was well maintained and had a really cool vibe to it. We saw a cat, many of the resident pigs (including mama pig with her little piglets) and an iguana.
There is a tower on the top that allows you to get really great views of the beach.
The restaurant on the beach had good food options and some great green egg specials for the day. They also have a dive shop (the guy at the shop was really helpful) and shower and changing facilities.
The best part was that you didn’t need to go far for good snorkeling, there were tons of fish by the corals next to the boardwalk.
Overall we had an amazing time and our daughter said this was her favourite beach on the island."
