Despite these drawbacks, its proximity to Split's historic center and role as a gateway to the Dalmatian Islands remain significant advantages.
"Very well equipped and very clean marina. The staff is helpful and polite, there is a caffe and supermarket nearby. The showers and toilets have been recently renovated and they are very elegant. The parking lot is spacious and you can also park electric cars there. There are 3 spots for electric cars. From the Marina, you can easily get to the center of Split dince it is 5-6 mins walking distance. I enjoyed my time spent in ACI Split ."

"Avoid if you can, over priced and the worst customer service in Europe. I have been running large yachts for over 20 years and never seen service so bad.
Don’t get me wrong the location is good and the city is great but they need to change their staff out to reflect a 5 star industry. If possible go to west coast marina. 60m Yacht paying 2k a night."
Nathan McFadyen
"Slept great on the boat in the marina. Very calm and quiet waters, the waves didn’t start until many hours past sun rise. The music from the other side of the port was pleasant but lasted until 2am."

Navigating the Marina: Services and Staff
Practical amenities like trolleys for loading and unloading are reported to be scarce, causing considerable inconvenience for boaters. Similarly, waste disposal facilities, including recycling, are noted as being poorly signed and organized. These issues, coupled with high berthing fees, lead some to question the value proposition despite the marina's excellent location.
For those planning a stay, it's advisable to be prepared for potential service hiccups. Having your own trolleys or planning for manual hauling might be necessary. While the marina offers essential services, managing expectations regarding staff interactions and the availability of certain amenities is key to a smoother experience.
The Strategic Advantage: Location and Island Access
As a major hub for sailing and yachting, the marina serves as a convenient departure point for numerous popular islands. Destinations like Hvar, Brač, Vis, and Korčula are within easy reach, making it a perfect starting point for week-long sailing trips or day excursions. The calm waters within the marina itself are also noted for providing peaceful overnight stays, though occasional music from nearby establishments can extend late into the night.
This strategic positioning means that while the marina itself might have some service drawbacks, its role as a gateway to the stunning Croatian coast and its islands is undeniable. Visitors often prioritize this accessibility, finding the convenience of reaching both urban attractions and island paradises a significant draw.
