What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kava Beach Slatine is praised for its stunningly clear, warm waters and beautiful natural setting beneath pine trees. Visitors appreciate the peaceful, less commercialized atmosphere. However, the challenging dirt road access, lack of amenities (no toilets, showers, or shops), and issues with litter left by some tourists are significant drawbacks.
"The beach is really nice and has a lot of potential. It's a bit tricky to get to it as there is two way traffic on a one lane road to get there. The dirt road is pretty unforgiving for cars. The water was pretty clear and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the tourists are leaving a lot of garbage behind, ruining the natural beauty. It's not massive amount yet, however, anyone who reads this review and goes there should try to keep this beach clean and not leave any garbage behind. I didn't add pictures of the garbage to my review, but it is there. People need to do better."

"A 10 minute dirt road drive from Slatina, which is not exactly ideal, leads to this interesting part of the coast with crystal blue sea and an experience of mild isolation from civilization. The beach is mainly made of rocks with some parts filled with small stones that make up the beach. Here come many yachts, sailboats and other vessels that are anchored too close to the shore. Various other vessels, scooters and smaller boats, which move along the coast endanger the safety of swimers and are without any control. There is nothing here, no shops, no showers, no changing rooms, no toilets. If you need something, you have to bring it yourself. There is a small construction site opposite the beach, which looks terible, and in the future it may become a restaurant with a toilet. Parking is not easy to find after 11AM. No one cleans the beach and the surrounding area, so there is a lot of scattered garbage"

"Nice blue water with pebbles. Some parts of this beach is ready for little children too. (Others are rocky shores and deepen quickly.) The Kava Beach Club was temporarily closed when we visited the beach I think it was under modernization. The beach has no toilets nor shower possibilities, de forrest along the gravel road and above where full of garbage the neighborhood of the whole beach is quite rubbishy. There are no trash bins people leave their litter everywhere. The road to this nice beach is quite adventurous too: there's only one lane and you have to be careful of the vehicles comming opposite of you. A gave 4 stars for the marvelous blue beach and the panoramic view."
