"The island is a true gem just off the coast of Rovinj. Reachable by 5 min ferry boat ride that runs about every hour. Once you arrive, you get surrounded by lush greenery that provides comfy shade and fantastic scent, perfect on a hot summer day. It feels like a natural park, quiet and unspoiled, with walking paths that lead to hidden coves and rocky beaches. We stayed 3 nights at Maistra hotel there and found the island a great place to relax, enjoy the beach and simply take in the stunning views of the sea and Rovinj’s old town in the distance."

"I visited this calm and beautiful island as part of a kayaking tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. The water was crystal-clear and incredibly clean, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Unlike many other spots I’ve visited, the shoreline here was much smoother, with fewer rocks, making it ideal for snorkelling and relaxing in the shallows. Beyond the water, the island offered tranquil paths for a peaceful stroll, and a few benches where you can sit, unwind, and take in the serene surroundings. A perfect little escape into nature."

Walk around the island before you settle down. The park and trails are beautifully maintained and the views across to Rovinj are stunning.
The hotel that operates on the island run the bars and beach services, and prices shown in photos. However if tou don't want to pay for sunbeds there are benches, beautiful lawns, and rocky areas beside the sea you can opt for.
I didn't use the beach bar or restaurant as I had taken food and drink with me.
It was so serene amd peaceful, I absolutely loved it."
