"I like history and I've been to quite a few other fortresses and the design follows other fortress designs because you're trying to defend and required similar designs and systems. The fortress has been disarmed and the museums/displays on site are bright with information and displays but I found some lack.....that is not a bad comment, just a minor con. There has obviously been a lot of work to maintain the integrity of the stone work and that is definitely a pro.
Definitely worth the time for a visit.
