What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pritiština Bay is lauded as a stunning, hidden gem with incredibly clear turquoise waters and a beautiful pebble beach. Visitors appreciate the scenic journey and the potential for a secluded experience. However, the challenging access road and lack of facilities require preparation, and some find it can get crowded.
"A real hidden gem that we had all to ourselves for the morning (beginning of June). Drove on a moped from Vis port and the route was very scenic. Getting closer to the destination was a bit sketchy on a ped as it was a dirt road with lots of loose rocks which made for a slightly uncomfortable journey but definitely worth it for the beach. The water was crystal clear and very refreshing. On the way back up you can see Italy in the distance on a clear day (last photo). A must see when visiting Vis Island 🩵"

"Awesome pebble beach with turquoise see, one of my favourites on Vis. And it is not crowded, so you can have it for yourself with a little bit of luck. Accessible with car although the road is not the best. Park along the road after last right turn because last part of road is steep and very bad. No bar or restaurant at the beach so bring food / drink."

"Real gem. Be aware that we saw few jelly fish in the bay."

Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Since there are no facilities, packing plenty of snacks, drinks, and entertainment is essential for a family outing. The clear, shallow waters are generally good for supervised swimming, but always keep a close eye on children. Visiting early in the morning can help avoid crowds and ensure a more relaxed experience for the whole family.
💰 Budget Travelers
Opting for a moped or a smaller, fuel-efficient car can help manage transportation expenses. The 'adventure' of the rough road is part of the experience, and avoiding paid attractions makes this a fantastic free natural wonder to explore. Just remember to factor in the cost of any necessary beach gear like water shoes if you don't already own them.
🚗 Adventurous Explorers
Once there, the opportunity to swim to nearby hidden coves adds another layer of exploration. The natural landscape, with its rock formations and clear waters, invites discovery.
