"The roman and early christian remains of "NESACTIVM" are absolutely recommendable, if you're into archeological sites. If you're reading the information given in the small site museum, there is a lot of interesting stuff to see, like the old sewer system, the different areas and the remains of the early christian churches. Also absolutely buy the little book about the site for only 30 Kuna that is available at the small museum from the very friendly site guard. Definitely worth a visit and I recommend this site, even if there seems to be very little to see on the first sight."

No good information.
In pre-Roman times, Nesactium, ruled by its legendary king Epulon, was the capital of the tribal population of the peninsula called Histri, who were also connected to the prehistoric. This means that Epupol was a illyrian."
