What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dubovica Beach is widely praised as one of Croatia's most beautiful beaches, lauded for its stunning turquoise waters, picturesque cove, and historic stone house. Visitors appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and the opportunity for a digital detox due to the lack of mobile signal. However, the trek to access the beach and the potentially higher prices at the on-site eateries are noted drawbacks.
"One of the best beach in Croatia. It is small but beautiful and quiet. A few places under the trees to protect from the sun. You have to arrive early to get a place to park your car on the road. There are a few spots in 2 different places. You have to hike about 10 min to go to the beach, the return is uphill..."
Michael Boucher
"There is no private parking, we parked by the road, from here it's a 5 minute walk down - unfortunately it's 15 minutes up, but worth it.
Down below is a perfect cove, clear water, two small, family run restaurants, one with bar service so we don't die of hunger and thirst.
There are no beds for hire, but the pebbles are smaller and round, so you can sunbathe comfortably on a plain towel.
No mobile network, the perfect place if you REALLY want to escape...
(You can pay by card in the restaurant and bar.)
Perfect peace and sweet escape❤️"

"Nice beach. A little bit hard to go down to the beach and get back up, but if you come with a boat it's great. There are two small restaurants and one bar. No trees no shade. Pretty big for the beaches of Hvar. Not great for kids."
