What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lazareti Dubrovnik is praised for its delicious pizzas and fresh seafood, offering a satisfying culinary experience within a historic setting. While the food and atmosphere are generally well-received, some visitors note occasional unavailability of draft beer and a less-than-ideal tipping culture. Overall, it's considered a good value for its location and quality of cuisine.
"My wife and I we were quite hungry after long travel, and we were neither during the lunch or the dinner as somewhere between it but still the chef was kind enough to make us pasta which is not made during the hour that we visited. The pasta was vegetarian without any meat and it was excellent. I am pretty sure the pizza would have been tasted the same as well. The pasta was really very delicious and it was the best I have ever had. The place was not crowded as well, and the orders were delivered really fast."

"Pleasant, conveniently located restaurant with nicely prepared food, and okay prices given tourist locale. We ate lunch here, the mussels buzaru style were fresh and nicely prepared and came with bread, the seafood tagliatelle had nice squid, mussels, and tiny shrimp in a tasty red sauce. They did not have draft beer despite that being shown on the menu, a tiny bit disappointing, but the bottled beer Vukovarsko was good. Also had a glass of local white wine. Service was nothing special, pleasant enough, but did not really like the nice waiter pushing me to tip at payment time, so that backfired for him, as I understand it tips are only for exceptionally good service here in Croatia? Total bill 45 euro for two."

Unfortunately they didn't have draft Beer so we had to pay for really expensive bottles, but the food, service and atmosphere made up for it.
Highly recommend this place"
