What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Roški Slap is praised for its beautiful natural scenery and unique features like the riverside restaurant and cave. While some find the main waterfall slightly overrated and the cave climb strenuous, the overall experience is considered worthwhile, especially for its tranquil atmosphere and swimming opportunities. Parking can be a challenge during peak times.
"Beautiful area and nature around the waterfall. Some spectacular panoramic views from the top ( that's if you decide to make an effort of steep walk to visit the cave which is only good for the view of the area not the cave it self - it's tiny.) As for the waterfall I think it's slightly overrated, you can only see it from a fair distance and it's quite small or there is a option to see it up close from the boat which will take you there for a small fee of €15."

"Honest review – beautiful nature, but a bit overhyped
Parking space is quite limited, so be prepared to wait.
There’s a small area where you can buy drinks and snacks, and also restrooms available.
By the river, there’s a small spot where you can swim, but it’s not very big.
The main waterfall is only truly visible if you arrive by boat. You can see it from the dock, but honestly, it didn’t impress me much.
The second part of the trail is very natural and peaceful, with several small cascades and river levels that create a charming setting.
The third part, which leads to the cave, involves climbing over 500 steps — definitely not suitable for everyone. In my opinion, the cave itself wasn’t particularly special.
All in all, I had imagined something more impressive. It’s not bad, but I definitely wouldn’t give the place 5 stars.
What I did really enjoy was the small restaurant area where a few tables are placed right in the middle of a shallow stream — perfect for cooling your feet on a hot day while having a drink."

"We arrived from the Krka National Park Information Center at Roški slap. Going down the road, there's a traffic light over a small bridge, after which you can reach the parking lot on the right or turn left onto the cave trail with another parking lot—since it's hidden, free parking seems easy to find there.
The site itself has a swimming area and a restaurant, and is also the starting point for boat trips; otherwise, climbing towards the cave, there are several scenic stops from which you can truly admire its beauty.
The Krka National Park ticket grants access to this area.
Dogs are allowed on a leash."
