"Amazing experience, spectacular views, beautiful forest. Very well organized tour - priority is safety and good fun. Guides are terrific - patient, accommodating, and reassuring. Our group consisted of few children and someone with a serious(!) fear of heights, and we all had a great time in the end. The climb up was manageable, nothing crazy. This tour is a must do if you’re in San Jose. After the experience you can stop by for a buffet at the steak house with beautiful views and play ground for kids. Huge thank you to the guides for being so considerate and accommodating with our kids."

"What an exciting experience I’ve had here. The canopy and zip lining was so fun and exciting. The guides were all awesome and excellent. Highly recommend doing this activity while in San Jose!"

"I visited La Carpintera with my son. It starts with a ride up the mountain in a truck for the first part of the journey, followed by about 20 minutes on foot, depending on your physical condition. Once at the top, they give you a safety training and fit you with the safety equipment along with instructions on how the ziplines work. That’s where the ziplines begin — there are about 8 to 10 of them, I honestly lost count. At all times, there’s a team going through the course with you and in charge of safety. In addition, there are two rappelling ropes. You return to your starting point, where a great restaurant awaits you — which I highly recommend. We really enjoyed it. The experience is well worth it."
