What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa Biesanz is praised for its beautiful, tranquil atmosphere and calm waters, making it a family-friendly gem. Visitors appreciate the amenities like chair rentals and drink vendors, as well as the scenic hike to reach it. However, the rocky path and rocky seabed require caution, and the beach area diminishes significantly as the tide comes in during the afternoon.
"Very beautiful and peaceful quiet beach where you could spend the first part of the day. After 2-3pm tide arrives and there is not much space where water doesn’t reach. Highly recommend to visit!"

"The beach is alright the waves are calm there are however many rocks and the path down is muddy and also full of rocks, the water is nice and green/aquamarine and has a great view of the bay."

"We loved this beach. It is a little remote and requires a hike to get to. The views are great! The beach is nice and the water is in a bit of a cove so there's waves but they're not huge. There are vendors renting chairs and coverings as well as fresh made drinks that are great. There's even a lady giving massages under a tent up on the rocks directly overlooking the beach which we didn't try. No one is too pushy but are all friendly. The only downside is there's a decent amount of rocks out in the water if you wear water shoes or sandals it's fine. Barefoot was a bit tough on my tender feet ."

For those who prefer to minimize the hike, having a car allows you to drive down a specific access path, bringing you closer to the beach. This option can be particularly helpful for families or individuals who find the full hike challenging. However, always be mindful of the conditions of the access road.
Beach Amenities and Activities

Understanding the Tides and Best Visiting Times
As the afternoon progresses, particularly after 2-3 PM, the tide begins to rise. This can reduce the available beach space, so it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly if you want to maximize your time on the sand. While the beach is beautiful year-round, sunny days during the rainy season are particularly special, offering a vibrant contrast of green foliage and blue water.
