"HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My friend and I went here on our way out of Monteverde. We had already seen the cloud forest while zip lining and we're looking for an easy and low key way to see some more forest before we leave, and this walk was a perfect way to support conservation lands while doing so. We saw a lot leaf cutter ants which really impressed us. The staff was very helpful and gave us a booklet to use as we walked through the paths. We went at 730 am on a Monday in January and there was only three other people there. IM OBSESSED AND WANT EVERYONE TO HO HERE. The paths were very well maintained and the forest still had ~cloud forest vibes~."

"Really enjoyed this place, we wanted to get a quick hike before a long drive and this was perfect for the morning. It only took just over an hour to do the full loop. Much steeper than Monteverde so be aware. We saw lots of bird at the very beginning. It’s short, but worth it! If you knew more about birding you probably be able to see lots more than us, but we saw about 5 different species and a few animals as well."

"This is a wonderful organization to support. Their main concern is conservation and education, which is quite different from many of the tourist companies. We had a wonderful guide named Orlando. He was clearly passionate about nature and helped us spot many native species. It was absolutely worth the $30-35 per person, because everything supports the non profit. You can walk the beautiful trails without a guide for $16, but you won't have the benefit of a telescope and great information. I recommend a morning walk around 10am. They have books and other small things for sale, or you can make a donation."
