Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Museo del Agua EPM to be an interesting and informative experience, especially for families, with engaging interactive exhibits and knowledgeable guides. While the tours are conducted in Spanish and some find the information surface-level, the low admission fee and focus on Colombia's water resources make it a worthwhile visit for many.
"I found the Water Museum to be a very interesting and informative experience. There’s a small admission fee, and you go in with a group led by a guide who walks you through the different sections.
The exhibits explore how water impacts Colombia—from biodiversity to everyday uses and the country’s ecosystems. Our guide was knowledgeable, answered every question, and really made the tour engaging.
I learned so much about where water comes from, how it’s used, and its importance to Colombia’s environment. It’s suitable for families as well—there were kids in our group who seemed to enjoy it, though the many stops for explanations may feel a bit hectic at times.
Overall, it was a lovely tour and a great way to learn more about Colombia’s natural resources. Highly recommend!"

"The admission is by Tour only. Not allowed to browse museum on your own. Not ideal when you want to just explore with a child in tow. We arrived and have to wsit for next tour to enter. I haven't entered yet just leaving a note for future visitors."

"As with most museums we've found in Colombia so far, the information provided is surface-level at best. If you need a place for kids to poke at things for an hour, worth your time. If you actually want to learn something new or have something explained to you about the science of water, this is not your place. My 8 year old was engaged, my 11 year old (and we) kept waiting for the interesting part to begin. However, the our guide clocked it and made a valiant effort to engage him."
