"I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Barranquilla Zoo, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! While it may be a smaller zoo compared to some larger establishments, the level of care and dedication that the staff provides to the animals is truly commendable.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the well-being of the animals is the top priority here. The enclosures are clean, well-maintained, and designed to mimic the animals’ natural habitats as closely as possible.
A special shoutout to Christian O, who went above and beyond to share information about the hard work that the Zoo BAQ Foundation does for the welfare of the animals and birds at the zoo, as well as for conservation efforts throughout Colombia. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious, making the experience even more enriching.
I encourage everyone to visit the Barranquilla Zoo. Not only will you get to see some incredible animals, but you’ll also support a team that genuinely cares about their well-being and is dedicated to educating the public about wildlife conservation. Your visit will make a difference!"
