What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently impressed by MOCAUP's monumental architecture, describing it as a jaw-dropping structure. While the building's scale is a major highlight, some find the internal exhibits less substantial, often recommending focus on temporary shows and historical displays like the 40th-anniversary exhibition. The unique robot coffee bar is a notable, albeit busy, attraction.
"This was one of many jaw-dropping structures in China, absolutely huge, especially when getting nearer the entrance to be able to appreciate its size. On the inside, wide angle lenses were unable to capture its scale. However, there was really not much inside. One had to wonder how on earth could the money spent on such splendid architecture justified. There were a few scaled models of Shenzhen City as it developed. The saving grace was that there was a large commemoration exhibition, celebrating 40 years of achievements of Guangdong province since China's opening up. It was very impressive to see such history. Lastly, the so-called coffeeshop on the 2nd floor was no more than a coffee making robot, but it always attracted enormous crowds."

"Nice decoration, but other than the paid event not much to see inside frankly. Remember to reserve via wechat before go."
