The rope bridge and glass bridges are both the star of the show.
However, it's super weird on the glass bridge, there will be people, signs and audio blasting out 'do not take photos of military instillations' every 2 minutes. This is because they put the glass bridge overlooking a naval base - if you don't want people to see it, why build the glass bridge? Odd"

"Staying at the Bird’s Nest Hotel was such a unique and unforgettable experience. Each room is built on the edge of a mountain cliff, which sounded a bit nerve-wracking at first, but the incredible views of the ocean quickly made up for it. Our room was perched over 400 meters above sea level, and the cool breeze during Sanya’s winter made it feel so refreshing and peaceful.

One of my favorite parts was having breakfast at the restaurant located at the peak of the mountain. Every morning, we were treated to a stunning panoramic view that made the day feel extra special. Our room had a cozy balcony where we would gather in the evenings for small chats and drinks. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for 2-4 people, though the shared door for the toilet and bathroom was a bit awkward.

The hotel itself is quite an adventure! You need to climb stairs and slopes to get to most areas, which could be challenging if you’re not used to it. Dragon Park was a beautiful spot, offering incredible views of Yalong Bay, but honestly, I preferred enjoying the views from our own balcony.

For the thrill-seekers, there’s a glass walkway along the cliff and a hanging swing bridge 400 meters high that connects two mountains. I’ll admit, it took some courage to cross, but the photos were definitely worth it! My son even took the flying fox ride from the mountain peak down to the base—I was tempted, but we chose to hike instead, which was its own kind of adventure.

The hotel staff were friendly and provided shuttle buses to move guests around, but the small, plastic-seated buses weren’t the most comfortable, especially with the drivers’ speedy turns on the winding mountain roads. Still, it added to the overall charm of the trip.

In the evenings, we walked out to explore local restaurants nearby, which were all quite decent. Looking back, it was such a special stay—challenging at times, but filled with unique moments and memories that we’ll cherish forever."

"Good Organization and Professional Service
Right from the start, it’s clear that the park is well-prepared for tourists. Parking can take a bit of time, as it is four levels high and located on the side of a hill. However, local authorities in black uniforms and helpful police officers effectively manage the traffic, making it easy to find a spot even during peak hours.
The descent from level 3 of the parking lot to the main gate involves stairs with several terraces, where you can already enjoy stunning views of the area. The stairs are wooden so it's a good idea to wear good, non-slip shoes, especially if it’s wet or raining. The hike on the mountain's stone paths also requires proper footwear, as the terrain can be slippery and uneven.
The main reception -you can find informational brochures in Chinese, English, and Russian languages which makes it easier for foreign tourists to navigate.
Pricing and Tickets
The entrance fee is variable, depending on the season –off-season prices are lower.The entrance ticket includes bus rides throughout the park, which is very convenient for those who want to see all the main points without walking long distances.
Additional attractions such as:

are charged separately,with prices ranging from 60 to 100 yuan per person, depending on the attraction.
Important note
Drones are not allowed and photography of the base is prohibited. At the summit, you can take photos in the half-sphere, but avoid taking pictures of the base.
Amenities in the Park
At the main entrance, there are very clean and well-equipped toilets, which is a great convenience for visitors. There is also a designated smoking area, as most areas of the park have a no-smoking policy.
Traveling Up the Hills.
The journey up the hills is done by small buses which do not have walls, only steel railings and plastic seats with seat belts. I recommend fastening your seatbelt, checking your pockets, and securing your bags well to prevent items like phones, keys, or cards from falling out during the ride. The buses travel on narrow, winding roads, with some turns having 180° reversals. Each stop is well-marked, and park staff assist with getting on and off the bus, guiding tourists to the right direction for sightseeing.
Attractions and Views
Upon reaching the summit of the park, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Yalong Bay. From the various viewpoints, you can admire the azure waters of the ocean, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
Glass Bridge – This is one of the most exciting attractions in the park. Walking on the transparent surface high above the ground provides unforgettable thrills and is an ideal spot for photos.
- Hanging Bridge – This offers a unique way to explore the rainforest, providing a stunning view of nature from an exceptional perspective.
Those with a fear of heights may struggle, as the bridge sways and strong winds may make it more challenging. The number of people on the bridge can prevent a quick exit, which can be an issue for some visitors.
Exotic Flora and Fauna – The park is home to many tropical plants, birds, and small animals, making it a true pleasure for nature lovers to walk through.
- Orchid Avenue– This is a spot particularly worth visiting. have never seen such a large number of orchids growing in one place before
Accommodation Options on the Hills
It’s also worth mentioning that there is the option to rent a cabin on the hills, known as the Bird Resort. Although I don't know the exact prices, it’s an interesting option for those who want to spend more time in this amazing place and enjoy the views of Yalong Bay from a unique perspective.
Tourist Infrastructure
There are small shops in the park that offer cold and hot drinks as well as snacks. A bottle of water costs around 10 10 yuan, and rice rolls with bacon wrapped in banana leaves are available for 20 yuan. Drinks are sold with a reasonable markup, but prices are still affordable and easy to access."
