"It was a hidden treasure in Nanchang City, where you can find the beauty of well-designed gardens, ancient trees and priceless art work from hundreds of years ago. Ba Da Shan Ren was a descendant of the Ming Dynasty Royal family and lived through the demise of Ming. The hardship of his life led to his unique style in painting and calligraphy. Roaming around, I echoed with many beautiful poems on display. I will visit it every time I go back to Nanchang. Highly recommend it."

"May 2017
Bada Shanren Memorial Hall, formerly Qingyunpu Taoist Temple (Qingyunpu), is located in the Meihu Scenic Area (No. 259 Qingyunpu Road), Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a museum commemorating the famous painter Bada Shanren (Zhu Da) in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Qingyunpu is a Taoist temple with a history of 2,500 years. It has a typical Jiangnan garden style. Badashan people once lived here in seclusion. It was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in 1957 and a national key cultural relics protection unit in 2006."
