"May not be the best professional type of performance, but it definitely left a unique impression! Our local tour guide said that the performers themselves are not fulltime professional dancers, they are actually simply ordinary native tribe locals who are there to just be themselves. The dance is not complicated but speaks volumes about their rich culture, traditions, tribal heritage, they introduce to you all the tribes in shangri-la, what their lives are like, all the singing is straight from their vocals, no microphones, only background music is through the speaker. This makes it quite interesting because as long as they're coordinated, they can register to perform, and it shows the true heritage of the people. Definitely a must watch if you like to understand the culture."
