"Need to scan your chinese citizenship card or 身份证 to enter this specific part of the park pictured below. I was able to get in by registering at the entrance but best to bring your card if you have one.
Overall, this park is one of the best if not the best park in Lanzhou. Be prepared to hike up to the top for some of the best view of Lanzhou. Stairs and steep climbs are very common. I went to Baitashan around 11 in the morning. There were lots of people at the bottom but the further up you get, the fewer people you will see. I was able to hike up to the top in an hour or so but for those who still want to enjoy the view without walking can ride cable cars that will take you directly to the top. Also many side stalls that sell food like ice cream and drinks along the way."

"On a sunny day in February, Baitashan Park in Lanzhou was a revelation. The mix of modern buildings and ancient sights like the White Pagoda, all set in vibrant greenery, was breathtaking. Climbing to the pagoda offered incredible views, and the well-maintained park was a peaceful break from the city buzz. It’s a special place that beautifully bridges Lanzhou’s past and present, perfect for anyone wanting to soak in the city’s charm."
