Reviews Summary
Mission Hills Haikou is praised for its exceptional golf courses, offering incredible variety and excellent condition, alongside impressive spa and hot spring facilities. However, guests frequently mention significant challenges with external transportation and occasional communication barriers with staff, impacting the overall convenience.
"Amazing golf courses, you could play for a whole week and not see the same hole twice. Ranges from easy resort courses to challenging tournament courses.
Hotel is huge, rooms are nicely designed and very comfortable. Didn't get to try the spa but looked very impressive from our room."

"The rooms are big. Not many people. Services are good. The green fees are not cheap. The courses are in great condition. Very scenic except for the high rise buildings in the surrounding areas."

"I write this with mixed feelings as there are both pros and cons of this resort. Let’s start with the positives. The spa is truly large! Although not natural one can spend a full day here providing it is not too crowded. For hotel guests cost is 138 rmb. For visitors cost is 200+. There are easily over 50 pools. I would give the spa 4/5. Disappointing there are no locker facilities as the main pool and change rooms was closed for the winter. The room is definitely a 4/5 we stayed two nights and is large and staff was excellent. Room service was prompt and fast. Now with the BAD. Location!!! No DiDi or Taxi service. Shuttle is a good 45 min wait to the mall area (Renaissance mall area). There are also no food options outside of the hotel. Stay here are your effectively stuck. Hotel can not even help call a cab there only solution is a DiDi which is a “non” option. If you need to go anywhere including Haikou. Your only option is to take the free shuttle from hotel to airport and then grab a cab to Haikou! Another BAD is that hotel staff does not respond to calls or emails. See email caption after I have already stayed."
