The park is monitored by cameras, and appears very safe both during the day and at night. There is an old bridge, an exercise area with Mahjong tables. Very nice for kids as well. At night, there are light shows in the buildings of the bay's skyline. It can be very hot during the summer, so visit it late afternoon or at night during that season."

"Nice park, still have some renovation going on at west side of the park. Good for jogging and fresh air right opposite our hotel (Baohua Harbour View Hotel).
Many buses starts and ends here, very convenient as it reaches to many places that we wishes to go (volcano geopark, haikou movie town etc).
Long stretch of bridge and can see Century Bridge from here. There are many eatery stalls and funfair here.

"Lovely public park for leisurely walk with a bridge that you can walk to across and can just about see views of mainland China. Once you get tired and heat gets too you - head to the entrance - cross the busy road as on other side you can get refreshment from high end shopping mall called “mixc."
