"An old brand. Founded in Russia in the early 19th century, it was established in Harbin with the construction of the Middle East Railway. Initially, a store was established in Xiangfang District. In 1902, it moved to the current location on Dongdazhi Street. Later, a branch was added on China Street (Central Street). Qiulin not only does department store retail, but also has its own factories for production, such as tea processing, cigarettes, and sausages. After the October Revolution in Russia, Qiulin moved its headquarters to Harbin. Later, Qiulin became British-funded, Japanese-funded, and returned to the Soviet Union. In the 1950s, Qiulin was returned to China. After the reconstruction and opening up, the Qiulin company building was expanded from two floors to four floors. With the rapid development of the mainland economy, Qiulin Company and its industries were scattered in the mergers and acquisitions of different groups. The company and its related industries, such as the food factory, are not owned by the same group. It is said that the only thing left in Qiulin Company is the Art Nouveau grand staircase in the store. To trace the historical traces of Qiulin, you can only rely on this or old photos."

"Tyulin Company, formerly known as Tyulin Trading Company, was founded by Russian businessman Ivan Yakolevich Tyulin in 1900. The mall is named after the founder.
The four-story old building where the company is located next to Dazhi Street is the former site of Lao Qiulin Company. It remains intact and is one of Harbin's landmark buildings. It is still very practical and is still a large department store.
In the 1980s, Qiulin Department Store (then known as Songhuajiang Department Store) was almost the only large department store in Harbin. Every weekend, the mall was bustling with people inside and outside, and the density of people was amazing.
With the development of the commodity economy, the company's commercial status is no longer what it was back then, but it is still a landmark building in the business district of Nangang District, Harbin, forming a prosperous commercial center around it.
The Russian-style bread (commonly known as Daliba), Russian-style sausages and candies produced by Qiulin Company are also Harbin's local specialty foods."
