Visitors are highly impressed with the Guangdong Science Center, praising its fantastic architecture and engaging, interactive exhibits that make learning fun. It's considered a great destination for all ages, especially on hot or rainy days. Some note that the building's exhibit space might be smaller than its overall size suggests, and the gift shop was a disappointment for some.
"Fantastic place! Very impressed. Went two days in a row, will be back again if I'm in Guangzhou. Loved it, learnt quite a bit, almost as exciting as Nemo in Amsterdam."
Ruth Pang
"Great architecture and exhibitions. The park around it is still under construction but the science center itself is open"
Lucas Gangneux
"Don't be misled by the claim of this being the world's largest science centre. The building itself is cavernous indeed; however, the galleries and exhibits take up maybe one quarter of the space. There are loads of empty space especially in the common areas, occupied mainly by kids on their phones. The exhibits are a bit dated but generally well maintained. Gift shop was a disappointment."
