"This is an excellent museum with numerous life-size displays, offering a truly immersive experience. Located at the foot of Gushan Mountain, a famous scenic spot in Fuzhou, it's easily accessible.
Over 800 revolutionary relics and 800 historical photographs are on display. The exhibition combines artifacts, graphic displays, and historical scenes, complemented by modern audio, visual, and electronic technology, to vividly and comprehensively illustrate Fujian's century-long history, from the Opium War in 1840 to the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
Among the collection are treasures: the bullet lodged in Ye Fei's body. In the winter of 1933, Ye Fei was meeting with underground Communist Party members at the Shizitou Ferry Inn in Fu'an, eastern Fujian, when he was suddenly attacked by the enemy and struck by multiple bullets. One of the bullets remained lodged in his chest until his death in 1999. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM"
