What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors describe the Flying Tigers Museum as a small but historically significant site, particularly for WWII enthusiasts. While its size and potentially challenging location are noted, the collection of photographs, uniforms, and vintage vehicles offers a valuable glimpse into the past and the history of Sino-US relations during the war.
"A small museum, the building used to be Stillwell's house. They have plenty of pictures of that era, showing Stillwell during his endeavours in China.
They have four old vehicles parked in the museum and a few uniforms and WWII equipment.
It's really hard to find if you don't speak or read Chinese, better if you are guided there, but if you really want to go there by your own, the best is to take Chongqing's subway line 2, and going to Fotuguan station, it's a quick walk from there.
Good to see if you are interested in WWII history."
