What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Duang is celebrated for its exquisite Peking Duck, featuring incredibly crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, often prepared with tableside flair. While the ambiance is chic and modern, some find the prices steep for dishes beyond the signature duck, and certain vegetable sides could use improvement. It's a highly recommended fine-dining experience, especially for tourists seeking a top-tier Peking Duck.
"Upon entry you think you're in a beauty salon or a cosmetics clinic. The lighting, the decor, the setup.
Their menu is long but their speciality is the pecking duck. We tried the suckling and it was v good and lean. We also tried the antartic toothfish on a sizzling bed of garlic which was tasty and soft. The bitter melon and sautéed mushrooms - not nice. The cabbage noodles - ok
The operation is more surgical than gastronomy - see picture. But the duck is very nice. Doesn't look authentic but it's definitely clean and tasty."

"One of the best peking duck experience I've tasted. The duck skin was crispy it literally melts in your mouth. The duck slice was juicy paired with the home made sauce which is not too sweet. Wrapped in the super thin and slight chewy wrapper skins. Add in the garlic paste which acts like a wasabi to cut away the grease. Paired the duck with a nice bottle of pinot noir makes the meal more all the more enjoyable. Then they serve freshly baked 'sauce bing' baked sesame bread to eat with the duck. The bread was light and crunchy with the fragrant of the toasted sesame. The cherry foie gras with fresh harthaw tasted like chocolate trouble with a hint of savoury is very interesting. The pan fried prawn is very fresh and still retains the juiciness of the shrimp. With the sour taste of the green cherry tomato lending a refreshing taste. The slight sweetness of the cabbage with chestnut was not over cloying. The sea sale lemon wagyu was melt in your mouth goodness. Served with sea salt, kafir leaves and lemonade pearls balanced out the fat from the beef. And the bird's nest mango pomelo dessert was so yummy."

"The Peking roast duck here is super!!!!
Crispy and cooked to perfection. I love the experience of watching the chef slice up the duck in front of your table. One duck is good for 4 to share.
We tried a few other dishes which were equally delicious.
Service is good and prompt.
What a lovely dining experience!"

The addition of freshly baked 'sauce bing'—sesame bread—provides a delightful textural contrast and fragrant aroma, further enhancing the meal.
