"A must visit in Beijing. Confirms my view that museums of women are absolute unsung gems of any city you find them in. Has been quite quiet on my visits. Go see!"

"The building is gorgeous, and it's not a long walk from exit B of Dongdan station. The exhibits are really interesting, though when I went, half of the 6th floor and the entire 3rd floor were closed off, presumably for renovations. There are English explanations for all the artifacts, and the prefaces/conclusions for each exhibit are also translated into English. Really happy to see a museum all about women and children that addresses the issues and triumphs of each demographic. Also happy to see that the museum includes artifacts and information about ethnic groups other than the Han ethnicity. Overall, a really good museum!! Well worth a visit."

"Free museum.
Is a huge space but the content of the displays was a little underwhelming."
