What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque Catrico is praised as a beautiful, spacious park with great potential for nature connection and recreation, featuring a unique wetland and ample play areas for children. However, some visitors note neglect in certain areas, with trails needing maintenance and concerns about off-leash dogs impacting wildlife.
"It's a beautiful park where you can connect with nature, very close to the city. The wetland is a unique environment for observing biodiversity, including various birds."
Camila Neder
"Very nice park, has a lot of potential, the games and the trails are beautiful, unfortunately it is very neglected, the trails and viewpoints have fewer boards, which can cause an accident, they are discolored, some games are in poor condition, the guards with their phones instead of taking care of it, I read that pets are not allowed and people entered with their dogs without a leash and the guards did not say anything. I saw several dogs bothering the birds and dogs with collars, which is unfortunate. Also in one part of the trail, you could not pass it was totally flooded."
Angela Urrea
"Excellent place to go for walks, play sports, and take children. It's located in the wetland and allows you to observe a variety of birds. The downside is the people who bring dogs, which destroy nests and affect their habitat. The park is very large, so be sure to visit."
