"Gorgeous gorgeous beach, long and sandy with a calm enough sea for swimming.
We came at the end of April and it was practically deserted.
The sunset is one of the best I've ever seen, reminiscent of the intense sunsets you see over the Mediterranean from Turkey.
But please, I beg everyone, take your rubbish home with you..as gorgeous as it was sad and frustrating to see lots of discarded plastic bottles along the beach (not as bad as La Serena but still..) also I know it's a fishing village but there was tons of discarded plastic fishing nets. This stuff is killing the sea fauna and it needs to stop.. hopefully things will change.
Still come though, it's a stunning place"

"Nice beach with fine white sand and not too big waves. The parking in the first km is paid ($3000) but the beach is free and you can walk around, it is usually noisy and crowded with garbage left by people and smelly. After you can find the private campings area, more clean and with services like bathrooms, showers and some small convenience stores. after the campings is free but no toilets or clean water available. On the way to puerto aldea you can find some wetlands with local birds and other small animals, more beach to enjoy with almost no people around."
