What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Quinta Normal Park is a vast and beautiful green space in Santiago, praised for its numerous museums, serene lagoon with paddle boats, and ample shaded areas. While some visitors note a decline in certain areas with graffiti, the park remains a beloved spot for recreation, cultural exploration, and community gatherings.
"This is a massive, beautiful park with several museums around it. There are lots of shaded areas and benches."
Heather S.
"4 stars only because it's a very large park with lots of trees, a nice pond where you can rent a paddle boat and still some museums to visit.
As another review mentions it looks to be in decline as a few of the large old buildings that look abandoned have been defaced by graffiti."
blair parkinson
"This park seems to have everything, it's home to four museums with several other just outside the park. It is a Big Park with a small Boating Lake, an Athletics Track, Tennis Courts, a Swimming Pool. Lots of trees and places to sit in the shade. Nice place for walking or jogging. It was very quiet when I visited during a week day, daytime. I found it reassuring that the police patrol this park on motorcycles, perhaps after some incidents of robbery, but I felt quite safe."
