What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for accommodations in the Puerto Natales area, which serves as a gateway to Puerto Prat, are mixed. While some guests praise the warm rooms, cleanliness, and spectacular views, others find the decor tired, WiFi sparse, and noise issues problematic. The 'clapped out backpacker hostel' vibe is mentioned, with some experiencing maintenance issues.
"We loved this hotel! Stayed here two nights, beginning of February 2025
Our room was warm and cozy, lovely big bathroom and very clean and fresh.
The sitting room/lounge was really lovely. A beautiful view and a nice place to sit reading a book.
Lot's of lovely restaurants a short walk away.
The staff were lovely. Helped us to book excursions.
The breakfast was simple but perfect. We had freshly made scrambled eggs every morning."
Susan Souch
"Our large group of 10 people stayed here in March 2024. The rooms and bathrooms are good sized and everything is spotlessly clean. The breakfast every morning was good, but the coffee was terrible. The whole place has the feel of a place where trekkers can rest up between hikes. Nothing fancy and the decor is a bit tired, but the location is great and the views spectacular. No elevator."
Julie Whelan Capell
"The hotel has extremely sparse wifi. Despite some 9 different networks, your lucky to have a connection anywhere outside of the dining area. Don't even bother if you have a room on the first floor. Every slight footstep from above sounds like a giant stomping on the floor. The luckiest you could be would be to be on a second floor, without an excessive amount of dead bugs and flies everywhere.
Yes the hotel is near the water but the town is small enough you're much better off probably literally anywhere else.
1/10 would not recommend."
