Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Alerce Andino, particularly the majestic Alerce Milenario tree and the picturesque waterfalls. The well-maintained trails and the park's pristine condition are frequently praised, offering a serene escape into nature. Some note the challenging unpaved road access and the region's frequent rain, advising preparedness.

"Nice and easy trail with a massive waterfall at the end of the first stage. The second stage is getting more uphill and difficulty increases. As of November '23, the road is unpaved but in a quite good condition, any car should make it. There are a few parking spots at the trailhead but make sure to leave the car in front the gate if you're not coming back by 4:30pm. Otherwise it might get locked in. For foreigners, the price is 6000 per person. There was a ranger who spoke English and explained us the trail."

Jan Mádr

"Very nice place to hike. The paths are clearly indicated. Youll find waterfalls, lakes and a 3000 year old three on your way. Swimming is not allowed."

Sina

"Nice rangers and only a three or so campsites for tents. It rains a lot here, 144 inches a year. Be prepared. But trail to large Alerce tree is worth it. About 4 kilometers one way on a good trail along river."
