"Very nice place to see some history in Chile."

"Spectacular open-space museum, exhibiting two nearly complete trains including the locomotives with coal tenders and many cargo and passenger cars. One of them even has kitchen restaurant cars, with a functioning cafeteria operating in one of them! There's also a fair amount of supporting ferroviary equipment around. To top it off, there's good parking (unfortunately too small for my motorhome, but I was able to park it along the street nonetheless) and toilets -- everything free of charge except for the toilets, which cost a very reasonable 200 pesos (something like 0.25 USD at the current exchange rates)."
