"As a person of Métis heritage, I definitely wanted to check out Saint Boniface Cathedral, and the resting place of Louis Riel. It did not disappoint.
While I did not go inside the actual cathedral, the exterior was stunning. My partner and I were the only ones around, and walking through such a beautiful structure was incredibly peaceful.
If you are out for a walk and enjoy beautiful architecture, I definitely recommend setting aside the time to stroll around Saint Boniface Cathedral."

"Beautiful basilica, gives Winnipeg that “old roman city look” despite it being a young city. The ruins speaks of Winnipeg’s rich history & the Catholic Church’s resilience. The Basilica should offer more open hours for silent prayer for Catholics"
